Board of Trustees, Patrons and Matrons
Board of Trustees
They protect and maintain the core values and purposes of the organization.
The board of trustees is typically the governing body of the organization and seeks to ensure the best interest of stakeholders in all types of management decisions.
As a collective body, the trustees hold the overall authority and responsibility to ensure the fulfillment of Dove-Haven Foundation’s mission.
They are ultimately responsible for the fiscal health of the institution.
The board of trustees governing role is typically limited to selection of the Chairman and policy approval, with the daily operations and management of the institution operated by staff and volunteers.
Patrons and Matrons
They will not play a formal part in the organization, but are important pivot to the success of the organization.
They are ambassadors of DHF and their names will be listed on letterheads, brochures, and publicity material to help raise awareness and support.
The primary role of a patron or matron is to lend credibility, support financially, and help establish linkages with people or institutions that can be of help.
